School choice campaign yielding over 8k student applications

Helping EnrollBR create equity in education through the empowerment of school choice with a focus on historically under-resourced communities in Baton Rouge, La.

Client | EnrollBR, a project of New Schools for Baton Rouge

Role | Strategy (Brand, UX, Comms) / Account Lead

New Schools for Baton Rouge believes that great education is a birthright for all students. ThreeSixtyEight partners with NSBR to impact this vision through its projects championing community-transforming facilities, educator talent recruitment and support, and school choice.

As one of these projects, EnrollBR empowers with the knowledge to make a choice for their student’s education and equips them to enroll in many of the city’s high-quality, free charter schools through a common application process. When we began working with NSBR in late 2019, EnrollBR was new to the brand portfolio, absorbed from the Louisiana Department of Education. This project introduced the organization’s first direct touchpoint with its public audience. Initially a challenge, we conducted research to understand the target communities and honed campaign language and channel strategies that resulted in quarter-over-quarter growth.

Since 2020, EnrollBR + TSE’s marketing and technology partnership has yielded more than 8,000 student applications – many of whom were previously attending D- or F-rated district schools.
